Named according to its shade size, the PH 4.5-3.5 consists of an approximately 45 cm top shade, but uses lower shades from the 3½ model (35 cm).The shades are made of mouth-blown opal three-layer glass, which is shiny on the top and sandblasted matt on the underside, giving a soft and diffuse light distribution. As the shades are made individually, the glass varies slightly, so every shade is unique. This means that there may be air bubbles in the glass, and the thickness can vary.
